Guevara Towing was founded in 2008 by Jose Guevara with a single flatbed truck and a clear work ethic rooted in determination and hands-on service. In the early days, the company focused on light-duty towing, assisting everyday drivers and hauling scrap vehicles. Those humble beginnings shaped the foundation of the business—hard work, reliability, and a commitment to getting the job done right no matter how small.
As the years went on, Jose expanded his experience by working as a long-haul truck driver. Spending countless hours on the road gave him a firsthand understanding of the challenges and risks that drivers face, especially in high-pressure situations like breakdowns. That perspective would later become a defining influence on the direction of Guevara Towing.
A turning point came when Jose himself needed a heavy-duty tow for his semi-truck and was significantly overcharged. That experience exposed a gap in the industry—drivers in vulnerable situations were often met with unfair pricing and a lack of transparency. Instead of accepting it as the norm, Jose used it as motivation to evolve his company.
From that moment on, Guevara Towing shifted its focus toward heavy-duty towing, with a mission centered on fairness, honesty, and respect for every customer. Drawing from his own experience, Jose made it a priority to treat drivers the way he wished he had been treated—offering clear pricing, dependable service, and a genuine understanding of their situation.

OUR INTRODUCTION INTO HEAVY DUTY
OUR FIRST MEDIUM HEAVY DUTY TRUCK!
One of the most meaningful milestones for Guevara Towing was the addition of our first medium heavy-duty tow truck—a 1989 International equipped with a 25-ton Vulcan unit. It wasn’t brand new or flashy, but it represented something far greater: a step into a new level of service and a commitment to growth.
At the time, Jose Guevara was still new to heavy-duty towing. Every call was a learning experience, and every job came with its own challenges. But what he lacked in experience, he made up for in determination. He took his time, paid attention to every detail, and learned hands-on—job by job, mile by mile. There were no shortcuts, just a strong drive to figure things out and do the work the right way.
That old International became more than just a truck—it was a classroom on wheels. Long days and tough recoveries slowly built the confidence and skill needed to handle even the hardest jobs. Jose was never discouraged by what he didn’t know; instead, it pushed him to improve and master the craft.
Looking back, that truck represents the grit and persistence that still define Guevara Towing today—a reminder that every expert starts somewhere, and with enough dedication, you can get the job done right the first time.

Today, Guevara Towing has grown into a strong, capable team built on experience, pride, and a deep respect for where it all started. Our fleet reflects that journey. We run a 2001 International 9900i with a 35-ton Century unit, a 2009 International ProStar equipped with a 25-ton NRC Quickswap, and a 2009 Kenworth T800 paired with a variety of trailers to handle whatever the job demands. Each truck is more than just equipment—it’s a tool we rely on to deliver safe, precise, and dependable service every time.
Behind the wheel are three dedicated drivers with years of hands-on experience. They understand the responsibility that comes with every call, and they bring the same mindset that built this company—do it right, treat people fairly, and take pride in the work.
You’ll notice we still run Internationals in our fleet, and that’s no accident. It’s our way of honoring our roots and the path Jose Guevara started back in 2008. Those trucks are a reminder of the early days, the long hours, and the lessons learned along the way.
